Teenage boys' bedroom

I met with my client when he was a 10 year old boy and his family were about to start major renovation works on their house. He and his younger sister were lucky enough to have autonomy over how their rooms would look and each had unique briefs. 

He was keen to have a dark room with mid century style pieces and quirky touches, which reflected his interests.  I chose a delicate wave wallpaper which complimented walls painted in navy blue and splashes of orange in the furniture and accessories.  It was important that this room grew with him as he became a teenager and could be somewhere he'd be proud to hang out with his friends.
